Street Fighter 2 - Champion Edition

The classic 1990s arcade beat-em-up comes online in the champion edition of Street Fighter II - Champion Edition.  Street Fighter 2 redefined the beat-em-up genre, and picked up a failing arcade industry back in the ’90s.  It was truly one of the great arcade games of all time, and spawned a huge number of wannabes and rivals.  Without Street Fighter 2 we’d probably have to Tekken, no Mortal Kombat, and no Virua Fighter.

The Champion Edition allows you to play all 12 of the original characters, including the 4 bosses.  All 6 of the buttons are emulated and even though you need to use the keyboard the controls are amazingly very close to the original - and doing a dragon punch on the keyboard isn’t as difficult as you might expect after a little practice!

Other new games today are Stratagem, a “three in a row” puzzle game with a twist, a free cooking game called The Cake Maker, and a free word game called Word Reactor!
